  • We emphasize definition over traditional "planning" at this stage. The term "Define" puts a greater focus on precision. Here, we explicitly define the key questions that need to be answered, identify the decision-makers and their preferences for receiving the final product, and establish clear expectations. We also delineate the scope of our inquiry, specifying what is out of scope and from where we intend to collect data. This precise definition ensures a focused approach, while remaining adaptable as we explore further (see "Explore").

  • We prefer "Explore" over the traditional "Collect" because it embodies a proactive and inquisitive approach, as opposed to the passive accumulation implied by "Collect." "Explore" emphasizes actively seeking out information with an organic, flexible approach. While "Define" requires an explicit collection plan, "Explore" encourages adaptability and curiosity, allowing us to adjust our methods if the data gathered is insufficient or unsuitable for the problem at hand.

  • We thoughtfully compile data, organizing and structuring it to ensure that it’s ready for in-depth analysis. This step addresses any gaps and prepares the data for the next phase.

  • Our analysis is deliberately objective, free from bias, and rooted in evidence. This ensures that our conclusions are both accurate and reliable.
